“I love to explore the technical elements using my own unique range of motion to create new possibilities of movement and pathways within myself. My aim is to draw the narrative away from contortion being focused on the human form and more about the endless possibilities that all spark from the capability of having unrestricted mobility within the body.”
– Naomi Eddy

Hello! My name is Naomi Eddy, and I am a circus artist originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a graduate from L’École de Cirque de Québec based in Montreal, QC. I specialize in Contortion and I like to incorporate it into different disciplines such as Physical Theater, Hand Balance, Chinese Pole, Acrobatics, Aerial Hoop, and Visual Arts. In addition to circus school, I have had the opportunity to train contortion with the traditional Mongolian technique under world renowned coaches such as Erdenesuvd and Buyankhishig Ganbaatar, Azzayari Arinubold, and Serchmaa Byamba.

Before circus, I was studying mixed martial arts for over a decade before starting my journey into Contortion and Hand Balance. Along with that I also have a huge passion for singing and contemporary dance. I love to explore the technical elements using my own unique range of motion to create new possibilities of movement and pathways within myself. My aim is to draw the narrative away from contortion being focused on the human form and more about the endless possibilities that all spark from the capabilities of having unrestricted mobility within the body.

From the moment I walked in, it felt like a rustic Italian villa. The pasta carbonara was authentic and incredibly flavorful.
